Sourcefit Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to implement and improve managed security services across endpoints, identity, email, network, and cloud environments. This hands-on role focuses on delivery, troubleshooting and clear customer communication from a hybrid setup in the Philippines.

You will work with international teams, mentor colleagues and contribute to SIEM, automation and threat-hunting initiatives while maintaining runbooks and audits.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of hands-on engineering experience with emphasis on security implementation.
• Strong background in systems administration and networking foundations.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting security controls across endpoints and cloud.
• Clear examples of changes delivered and problems resolved.
• Excellent written and spoken English and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to learn new platforms and follow change-control practices.
• Vendor certifications preferred and valued.

Mansioni

• Implement, configure and maintain endpoint, identity, email, firewall, IDS/IPS, and cloud security controls.
• Translate client requirements into implementation plans with testing and handovers.
• Onboard clients, devices, tenants, and remote users with integrations.
• Administer and harden Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Google Workspace and cloud environments.
• Investigate alerts, phishing, BEC, ransomware, and network issues; contain threats and document root causes.
• Run vulnerability assessments and coordinate with testing teams and vendors.
• Contribute to SIEM log onboarding, detection tuning, and dashboards.
• Automate onboarding, remediation and response tasks with scripts and playbooks.
• Use AI tools for investigation and documentation with confidentiality controls.
• Support audits, incident reporting and post-incident improvements.
• Report performance metrics and clearly explain risks and next steps to clients.
• Collaborate with international teams and mentor engineers.
• Lead complex incidents and contribute to threat hunting and detection content.
• Support pre-sales scoping and deliver hands-on technical work.
