Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to define, design, and govern the enterprise data architecture.

You will ensure scalable, secure, and integrated data solutions that align with business strategy and analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with data engineers, solution architects, and governance teams to translate requirements into robust architectures, while ensuring data quality, interoperability, and long-term sustainability of MediCard’s data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python).
• Advanced hands-on experience with SQL database design and Databricks.
• Advanced experience using Azure Cloud Databases & Technologies.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and cross-country stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture vision, roadmap, and standards aligned with business strategy.
• Design end-to-end data architectures covering ingestion, storage, processing, integration, and consumption.
• Ensure architecture supports scalability, performance, resilience, and future growth.
• Develop and govern data models across enterprise domains and standardize practices.
• Architect cloud-based data platforms (Azure) with security, availability, and cost optimization.
• Guide data technologies and platforms selection and usage.
• Design data integration patterns for batch, streaming, and API-based movement.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance alignment across systems.
