Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, solution architecture, SAP consulting, or procurement tech environments.
• Proven leadership of complex IT initiatives across global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders across distributed teams.
• Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and purchasing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern the end-to-end architecture for procurement and purchasing solutions.
• Lead integration of SAP, non-SAP, cloud, middleware, and master data platforms for P2P processes.
• Define and maintain solution roadmaps, architecture standards, and technology strategies for purchasing applications.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, availability, performance, and EA requirements.
• Lead IT projects and workstreams from planning through implementation within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Own and oversee purchasing-related IT services and continuous service improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, development teams, and partners to deliver procurement solutions.
• Drive modernization initiatives to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and Senior SAP P2P Consultant to lead the architecture, integration, and strategic evolution of enterprise purchasing and procurement systems. This role will be responsible for designing scalable and secure solutions across SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring seamless integration, operational excellence, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. The ideal candidate will combine deep procurement process knowledge with SAP architecture expertise and strong leadership in project delivery and service ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern the end-to-end architecture for procurement and purchasing solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives

• Lead the integration of SAP, non-SAP, cloud, middleware, and master data platforms to enable seamless Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes

• Define and maintain solution roadmaps, architecture standards, and technology strategies for purchasing applications

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, availability, performance, and enterprise architecture requirements

• Lead IT projects and workstreams from planning through implementation, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives

• Own and oversee purchasing-related IT services, ensuring stable operations and continuous service improvement

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, development teams, and external partners to deliver innovative procurement solutions

• Drive technology modernization initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and operational efficiency

• Manage solution dependencies, technical risks, and integration challenges across the procurement technology landscape

• Support vendor evaluations, technology assessments, and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with long-term business and IT strategies

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related discipline

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, solution architecture, SAP consulting, or procurement technology environments

• Proven experience leading complex IT initiatives across global and cross-functional teams

• Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders while working across geographically distributed teams

• Strong experience in IT Solution Architecture with responsibility for enterprise-scale application landscapes and integration design

• Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and purchasing systems

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Procurement solutions, including one or more of: SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), SAP S/4HANA Central Procurement, SAP Basis (relevant procurement platform support and architecture)

• Proven experience designing and governing integration architectures involving SAP, cloud platforms, middleware, and third-party applications

• Strong experience with middleware and integration technologies, including API, messaging, and enterprise integration patterns

• Experience ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and operational governance
