IBM Consulting in the Philippines is seeking a skilled Package Consultant to design, develop, and deliver SAP UI5/Fiori solutions for our global clients. You will work as a client-facing expert, driving secure, scalable UI5 applications and integrating SAP builds with modern CI/CD practices in a hybrid delivery model.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, functional and technical teams, and leverage Build Work Zone, HANA, PostgreSQL, and GitHub to ensure successful project delivery in an Agile

Qualifications

Professional SAP UI5 and Fiori Elements development with Build Work Zone, CDS Views, OData.
Experience with SAP HANA, PostgreSQL and data integration.
Hands-on with GitHub, CTS/CI/CD, SAP security concepts.
Knowledge of SAP CAP, BAS, and SAP BTP services.
Strong delivery and collaboration in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement SAP UI5/Fiori apps using Fiori Elements, CDS Views, OData, and REST APIs.
Configure Build Work Zone, security, RBAC, HANA/PostgreSQL integration, testing and optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Support GitHub-based development, CTS/CI/CD, documentation, and best practices.
Ensure successful project delivery through reviews and deployments.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant: SAP UI5/Fiori, you will design, develop, configure, and support SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori solutions, serving as a client-facing expert to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications. You will leverage your technical expertise to analyze business requirements, integrate SAP solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Design and Configure Solutions:Design, develop, and enhance SAP UI5 and Fiori applications using Fiori Elements, CDS Views, OData services, REST APIs, and SAP Fiori design principles.
Deliver Comprehensive Solutions:Configure and support SAP Build Work Zone, application security, role-based access, SAP HANA/PostgreSQL integration, testing, performance optimization, and production support.
Collaborate with Clients and Teams:Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions and resolve application and integration issues.
Analyze Business Requirements:Evaluate business and technical requirements to develop effective UI5/Fiori applications, data models, integrations, and secure user experiences.
Ensure Successful Project Delivery:Support GitHub-based development, code reviews, CTS and CI/CD deployments, technical documentation, testing, and development best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required technical and professional expertise

Professional Expertise with SAP Development: Strong hands-on experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori Elements development, including SAP Build Work Zone, CDS Views, OData services, GitHub, CTS/CI/CD, SAP HANA, and PostgreSQL.

SAP Technology Knowledge: Experience with SAP authorization and security concepts, backend and external system integrations, with knowledge of SAP CAP, Business Application Studio (BAS), and SAP BTP services.

Technical Delivery & Collaboration: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience delivering scalable solutions and collaborating effectively with business, functional, and technical teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred technical and professional experience

SAP Certification: SAP certifications in UI5, Fiori, Build Work Zone, or SAP BTP preferred.
SAP Technical Experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA application development and enterprise-scale SAP implementation or support environments.
Development & Delivery Practices: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps, automated testing, code quality tools, and CI/CD best practices.
