Job summary

msg global solutions is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to join our Finance SAP practice. You will transform functional requirements into technical specifications, implement and optimize SAP solutions, and ensure adherence to best practices across code reviews and design governance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ABAP development (OOP) with ABAP FI/CO and BAPI/API experience, plus knowledge of S/4HANA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development - OOP, ABAP experience is a must.
Experience in Insurance domain is an advantage.
Experience in ABAP FI (AR, AP, GL and AA) and CO (CCA and PFA) development.
Experience in BAPI and API (REST, SOAP and OData) development and troubleshooting.
Knowledgeable in SAP BTP, ABAP Data Dictionary Objects, RICEFW, Sapscripts and Smart forms, and user exits/search exits.

Responsibilities

Implement and optimize existing SAP solutions.
Transform functional requirements into technical implementation.
Responsible for requirement gathering, technical design, coding, unit testing, technical documentation, and walkthrough.
Ensure software developed follows SAP best practices including code/design review processes.
Provide proper Root Cause Analysis on issues raised by clients.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
