Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer in the Philippines. The role focuses on ABAP programming, CDS/AMDP, and delivering ABAP WRICEF solutions across SAP modules with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will collaborate with business analysts and consultants, document technical specifications, and ensure timely delivery in a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in SAP ABAP, full SAP S/4 implementation experience, and proficiency in OO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 8 years’ experience in SAP ABAP.
• Experience in object-oriented programming.
• Experience in CDS/AMDP.
• ABAP RICEF experience.
• ABAP Workflow implementation experience.
• At least one full cycle SAP S/4 (On-prem/Cloud) implementation.
• ABAP HR/SF is a plus.
• ABAP Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand user requirements by coordinating with Business Analyst/Consultant to provide best SAP solutions.
• Coordinate with SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX) to ensure consistent user experience.
• Provide documentation via Technical Specifications for SAP changes.
• Support ABAP WRICEF with technical documentation.
• Write ABAP code per Functional Specifications and test in development client.
• Ensure programs meet schedules and allocate development effort.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshoot defects, and implement changes.
• Stay updated with SAP development trends through self-training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the requirements of the end-users by coordinating with the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and seek clarification in order to provide the best possible solution.
• Coordinating and consulting the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant who is in-charge in SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and Business Analytics to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side.
• Providing documentation in the form of Technical Specification for every change or modification in SAP Processes.
• Support all assigned ABAP WRICEF within the project and provide technical documentation of it
• Writing the code using ABAP programming language on the basis of the Functional Specification from Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and blueprint provided by the end-users and performing regular tests in development client on the usability of the code.
• Ensuring that all programs are completed in schedule as per the provided timeline and allocating appropriate man-days required in the development.
• Providing technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting during system defect and error and modifications to the system after it has been delivered.
• To stay updated with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes by self-training and research work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree graduate
• Has at least 8 years’ experience in SAP ABAP
• Experience in the field of programming and Object-oriented programming.
• Experience in CDS/AMDP
• Must have ABAP RICEF experience
• Should have ABAP Workflow implementation experience
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills in order to carry out their daily functions effectively.
• With at least one full cycle implementation of SAP S/4(On-prem/Cloud)
• ABAP HR/SF is a plus
• ABAP Certification is a plus
