Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Specialist in the Philippines to drive development of ABAP WRICEF and support SAP modules across FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX, and BI. The role requires coordinating with analysts and delivering technical specifications and tests.

Candidates should have 8+ years in SAP ABAP, CDS/AMDP experience, and ABAP Workflow proficiency, with a full cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation. Hybrid work arrangement offered in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 8 years of SAP ABAP experience.
• Experience with CDS/AMDP and ABAP RICEF/workflow.
• Ability to implement SAP S/4HANA in full cycle projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-user requirements and coordinate with analysts for solutions.
• Coordinate SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX, BI) to ensure consistent user experience.
• Produce technical specifications for SAP process changes.
• Support ABAP WRICEF efforts and document technical work.
• Develop ABAP code per specs and conduct usability tests in development.
• Ensure programs meet timelines and allocate development man-days.
• Provide end-user support and system troubleshooting post-delivery.
• Stay updated on SAP development trends through self-training.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the requirements of the end-users by coordinating with the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and seek clarification in order to provide the best possible solution.
• Coordinating and consulting the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant who is in-charge in SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and Business Analytics to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side.
• Providing documentation in the form of Technical Specification for every change or modification in SAP Processes.
• Support all assigned ABAP WRICEF within the project and provide technical documentation of it
• Writing the code using ABAP programming language on the basis of the Functional Specification from Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and blueprint provided by the end-users and performing regular tests in development client on the usability of the code.
• Ensuring that all programs are completed in schedule as per the provided timeline and allocating appropriate man-days required in the development.
• Providing technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting during system defect and error and modifications to the system after it has been delivered.
• To stay updated with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes by self-training and research work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduate
• Has at least 8 years’ experience in SAP ABAP
• Experience in the field of programming and Object-oriented programming.
• Experience in CDS/AMDP
• Must have ABAP RICEF experience
• Should have ABAP Workflow implementation experience
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills in order to carry out their daily functions effectively.
• With at least one full cycle implementation of SAP S/4(On-prem/Cloud)
• ABAP HR/SF is a plus
• ABAP Certification is a plus
