Job summary

MicroSourcing International is seeking a Senior Salesforce QA Engineer to join a hybrid team at Mall of Asia, Pasay City. The role focuses on leading test strategy, designing comprehensive test plans, and ensuring quality across Salesforce deployments in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with developers and business analysts, perform end-to-end testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT), and own release readiness while maintaining robust defect logs and test documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA experience within a Salesforce environment.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, standard objects, Flows, validation rules, permissions, and platform configuration.
• Demonstrated experience owning test strategies for software releases, not just executing predefined test scripts.
• Experience writing structured test plans and test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience using defect tracking tools such as Jira, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define and own the overall test strategy for each release, balancing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across Salesforce environments before production deployment.
• Log, prioritize, and track defects through to resolution, providing clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Build and maintain regression test suites covering core Salesforce business processes.
• Validate data migrations and integration flows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies by providing testing estimates and identifying quality risks early.
• Own release sign-off by confirming test coverage, documenting outstanding risks, and ensuring production readiness.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, regression suites, and defect logs.
• Collaborate closely with Developers and Business Analysts to ensure requirements are testable and expected system behavior is clearly understood.

What You Need (Non‑negotiables)

Preferred Skills / Expertise

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
• Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and third‑party systems.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum software delivery methodologies.
• Previous experience supporting Australia‑based clients as part of an offshore delivery team.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively across time zones.
