Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in Philippines seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, implement, and support Salesforce solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable apps using Apex, Flow, and LWC, while leveraging AI-driven coding tools to boost productivity and code quality. The role requires 5+ years of development experience with at least 3 years on Salesforce, certifications like Platform Developer I/Administrator, and strong integration

• Platform developer I or Administrator certification is essential. Platform developer II certification is highly desirable
• Experience working with different enterprise applications setups
• Good understanding of the data models and integration technologies

Responsibilities

• Build and implement custom applications using declarative customization capabilities of Salesforce platform
• Leverage Apex, Flow Builder, Lightning Web Components, and other Force.com tools
• Use AI-driven coding assistance tools to accelerate development and improve code quality
• Develop APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) and integrate other apps using middleware
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to identify AI-first service opportunities
• Lead performance optimization, ensure low latency, efficient data usage, and optimized queries
• Maintain coding standards, documentation, and testing (unit/integration tests)
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and Agile delivery practices
• Provide ongoing support and production issue resolution
• Lead production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

Meet the team:

In your role as a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting solutions on the Salesforce platform. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet business needs. A deep understanding of Salesforce development best practices, customization, and integration is required for this position. Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Force.com is highly desirable.

Where you come in:

• Build and implement custom applications using the declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce platform.
• Need to have working knowledge in Salesforce essential tool sets like Apex, Flow builder, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant Force.com platform development tools.
• Need to have hands‑on experience leveraging modern AI‑driven coding assistance tools (e.g., Claude, Agentforce) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance developer productivity.
• Experience with platform events, developing APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) in Salesforce platform, and integrating other enterprise applications using middleware and event stream technologies.
• Partner with architects and business stakeholders to identify high‑impact opportunities for transitioning traditional workflows into Agentforce‑driven, AI‑first service operations.
• Ability to work with team members located in various time zones.
• Hold exposure with the Salesforce AppExchange offerings and provide buy vs. build recommendations whenever necessary.
• Lead efforts in performance optimization: ensure good performance, low latency, efficient data usage, optimized queries (SOQL/SOSL), bulkification, governor limits, etc.
• Establish and enforce coding, configuration, documentation and testing standards (unit tests, integration tests, quality data models, code review practices).
• Stay up to date with Salesforce's three annual releases.
• Have experience delivering on an iterative, Agile delivery schedule and working in an Agile scrum environment.
• Follow Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Assist the extended team in identifying and resolving issues, providing ongoing support for Salesforce solutions.
• Lead production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to ensure system reliability and adherence to service level agreements.

What makes you successful:

• At least 5 years of accumulative developer experience, with 3 years of work experience in Salesforce platform
• Platform developer 1 or Administrator certification is essential. Platform developer II certification is highly desirable

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
