Job summary

GHD is seeking aSenior Civil Engineer with extensive road and transport infrastructure experience to design and deliver complex road projects. The role requires leading project teams, guiding junior staff, and coordinating with multidisciplinary professionals across international standards and client requirements.

The successful candidate will thrive in a hybrid work setting, with opportunities to work from Manila-area offices and collaborate with global colleagues on significant infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 8 years or more of experience in road and transport infrastructure engineering.
• Solid 4 years' experience in 12d.
• Strong understanding of road design principles and international road design standards.
• Australian design experience is highly regarded.
• Other international civil engineering project experience is highly regarded.
• Experience in a consulting, engineering, or infrastructure delivery environment.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform road engineering duties, including developing and delivering geometric road designs and related infrastructure.

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and designers.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform road engineering duties, including but not limited to:
• Develop and deliver geometric road designs and associated infrastructure, including intersections, roundabouts, car parks, active transport facilities, earthworks, access roads, and other related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform engineering calculations, assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Engage effectively with clients and project teams.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.

What you will bring to the team:
