Job summary

Gratitude Philippines seeks a Senior Revenue Accountant to lead end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606, guiding the month-end and quarter-end close and ensuring accurate revenue reporting. The role requires deep technical knowledge and strong leadership.

You will oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and audits, collaborate with Deal Desk, finance, operations, and IT to standardize processes, and build scalable controls and dashboards using Oracle Fusion, SQL, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• At least 8 to 10 years relevant experience in Technical Revenue Accounting and Revenue Accounting.
• Strong ASC 606 expertise applicable to complex revenue arrangements.
• At least 5 years leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes for revenue, including journal entries and related estimates.
• Provide strong technical guidance on US GAAP, ASC 606 and revenue recognition policies.
• Prepare, review and present monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and flux analyses.
• Oversee accounts receivable reconciliations and allowances, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to standardize approvals and streamline processes.
• Design and refine scalable systems, automated processes, and dashboards for revenue reporting.
