Sereact in Boston seeks a Senior Research Scientist to pioneer Vision-Language-Action models for robotic manipulation and navigation. You will work at the intersection of foundation models and real-world robotics, translating research into embodied intelligence.

The role emphasizes publishing at NeurIPS, CVPR, and related venues, and close collaboration with robotics and hardware teams to deploy AI-enabled platforms.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in CS/ML/Robotics with focus on DL and CV.
• Strong publication record at NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICRA, IROS or CoRL.
• Experience in leading AI research environments.
• Deep expertise in PyTorch or JAX, Transformers, Diffusion Models, and LLMs.
• Strong Vision‑Language knowledge for robotics control loops.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale VLA models and foundation architectures for robotic manipulation and navigation.
• Develop strategies for multi-modal data collection and fine-tuning of large-scale models.
• Optimize model inference for real-time robotic applications.
• Publish high-impact papers at top conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICRA, CoRL).
• Collaborate with Core Robotics and Hardware teams to integrate AI models into platforms.
