Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to oversee and expand our commercial insurance portfolio, focusing on both Employee Benefits (EB) and Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) products. This role is field-based, requiring regular client visits to understand their insurance needs and provide customized solutions to foster long-term relationships and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with B2B clients through regular in-person meetings and field visits.
- Risk Management Consultation: Assess clients' business needs and deliver tailored risk management strategies using EB, Liability, and Asset Insurance solutions.
- Collaboration with SMEs: Work closely with internal Subject Matter Experts to facilitate cross-selling, upselling, reselling, or policy rollover opportunities.
- On-Site Engagement: Perform on-site assessments, provide consultations, and conduct insurance feedback reviews to improve service quality.
- Business Growth: Promote client retention and drive new business by presenting EB and Non-EB products, as well as suggesting policy upgrades or changes.
- Renewals and Claims Support: Oversee policy renewals and assist clients with claims, collaborating with internal claims specialists for efficient processing.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to offer competitive solutions to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth policy administration and high-quality service delivery.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify and leverage opportunities to cross-sell both EB and Non-EB insurance products.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with expertise in both EB and Non-EB insurance lines.
- Proven field sales experience with a strong track record in relationship management.
- Demonstrated experience in consulting with agents, brokers, and direct clients across all lines of business.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities for evaluating client needs and recommending solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a client portfolio independently.
- Experience managing a large client base (approximately 200 B2B clients annually).
