About this Role

As a Senior Guidance Counselor, your main responsibility is to manage a team of Registered Guidance Counselors to ensure quality delivery of counseling services through the Mind You platform. As team lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Guidance Counselors are able to provide at-standard guidance and counseling sessions; that the team adheres to company protocols and policies; and that feedback and recommendations from various stakeholders are utilized to innovate and further develop the counseling services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting Counseling Sessions: promptly conducts assigned counseling sessions, ensures that sessions are conducted in a private area with stable internet connection, and follows guidelines and protocols set by the company.
• Session Documentation: tags session status on the same day of the session, produces In Session Forms within a week of the session, and uploads No Show Form on the same day as no show session.
• Active Communication: informs immediate supervisor of any issues related to sessions and communicates whether or not tasks assigned are within their competency.
• Self-Care: recognizes burnout, has a life out of work, and uses leaves appropriately.
• Financial Performance: ensures attainment of targets for gross margin and profitability of the business unit and reviews operational business plans.
• Planning and Monitoring: develops annual plans and programs, targets, and budgets, and monitors progress to ensure attainment.
• Infrastructure Development and Review: directs development, installation, and review of sales systems, processes, and policies.
• People Management: trains and oversees Guidance Counselors department, defines work expectations, and ensures work progress of department staff.
• Reportorial Requirements: regularly reports to Management on status of expected deliverables and elevates concerns and problems to Management.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: MA in Guidance Counseling, Professional Regulatory Commission License in Guidance Counseling, and at least 2 years of counseling or therapeutic work or internship experience.
• Competencies: understanding of psychological concepts, good grasp of different therapeutic techniques, and good communication skills.
