Job summary

4C Medical Tech is seeking a Sr. R&D Engineer to drive development of transcatheter delivery systems from concept to commercialization.

You will apply advanced mechanical engineering to design, prototype, test, and improve catheter-based components, working closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Clinical teams, physicians, and suppliers. The role emphasizes DFMA, risk assessment, and design controls to ensure manufacturability and reliability while supporting manufacturing transfers and

Qualifications

Requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years of engineering experience.
3+ years of medical device product development (ISO/QSR) preferred.
Experience with product development from conception through manufacturing transfer.

Responsibilities

Support transcatheter delivery system development from concept through verification, validation, design transfer, and commercialization.
Translate clinical needs and product requirements into engineering solutions.
Lead test method development, verification and validation activities, data analysis, and technical reporting.
Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, risk assessments, and root-cause investigations.
