Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Quality Engineer in Makati City to join the Apex Invest team. You will ensure high-quality front-end applications and enterprise systems for financial services, performing manual and automated testing, and promoting best practices across the SDLC.

The role blends hands-on testing with automation, requiring collaboration with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software and robust testing frameworks.

Qualifications

• Ten-plus years in a test analyst or QE role with strong testing background.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven API testing experience and familiarity with Postman.
• Ability to work with multi-region teams and manage stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualification and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, and parallel testing of changes and projects.
• Develop and maintain test automation suites using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Contribute to testing framework and drive automation-first practices.
• Support performance and security testing initiatives and collaborate with Dev teams.
• Mentor junior testers and ensure data integrity and quality across systems.
