Job summary

Surepay Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Lead to head the quality assurance function for our software products.

You will design and execute test plans, coordinate UAT, and drive defect resolution across development teams. The role requires at least two years in software QA, including one year in a senior or lead capacity, a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS, strong communication, analytical thinking, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the quality assurance function, ensuring all software products meet defined quality standards prior to release.
• Develop, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for all system components.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on all software releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution using appropriate issue-tracking tools.
• Coordinate with developers and system analysts to ensure timely defect resolution and re-testing.
• Establish and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices across the development lifecycle.
• Conduct test reviews and provide feedback to the development team on quality findings.
• Prepare and submit test summary reports, defect reports, and quality metrics for management review.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process.
• Mentor junior QA staff and support their development in testing methodology and tools.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders during UAT to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Ensure compliance with company quality management standards and documented QA procedures.
• Maintain updated documentation of all QA activities, test results, and release records.
• Attend certification trainings or schooling as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the President.
