Job summary

CoverGo is seeking a QA professional to perform manual testing on new technologies and conduct thorough API testing using Postman or Swagger. The role requires 4+ years in an Agile environment, strong QA theory knowledge, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in using manual testing tools and procedures in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on experience in manual API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger) including validating endpoints, status codes and response payloads.
• Deep understanding of QA theory.
• Good understanding of SDLC and lean/agile QA methodologies.
• Enjoy working in a group and collaborating with cross-functional teams to get things done.
• Good communication in English is a must.
• Continuous learning of innovative approaches to testing and best practices.
• Share new ideas and can adapt to work when circumstances change.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on new technologies.
• Identify and resolve simple quality process issues with little to no supervision and guidance.
• Write test scenarios and run them during the testing process.
• Identify bugs and report them according to bug template with sufficient detail so that developers can investigate further.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate request/response behavior.
• Report status to cross-functional teams.
• Execute on defined tasks according to guidelines and contribute to solving problems with defined solutions.
• Provide support with the team proactively.
• Mastering your craft and leveraging it for greater impact.
