Job summary

CoverGo | Insurtech is seeking a skilled QA Engineer for manual testing in a fully remote, international environment. You will perform thorough manual testing, validate API endpoints via Postman/Swagger, and report issues with clear details to help developers resolve them quickly.

The role requires 4+ years in agile testing, strong QA theory understanding, and excellent English communication. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and contribute to stable, scalable software

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in manual testing in an agile environment.
Hands-on manual API testing with endpoints, status codes and payload validation.
Strong understanding of QA theory and software development life cycle.
Familiar with lean/agile QA methodologies and cross-functional teamwork.
Excellent communication in English and collaborative mindset.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing approaches.

Responsibilities

Perform manual testing on new technologies.
Identify and resolve simple quality process issues with minimal supervision.
Write test scenarios and execute them during testing.
Identify bugs and report with sufficient detail for developers.
Perform API testing using Postman or Swagger to validate requests and responses.
Report status to cross-functional teams.
Execute defined tasks per guidelines and provide proactive team support.
Continue mastering testing skills to raise impact.
