Job summary

Infor in Manila is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead manual and automated testing for our web applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability, applying strong analytical and programming skills to resolve complex problems.

The role involves designing test strategies, creating and maintaining test cases, and building automation scripts using TypeScript, Cucumber and Playwright, with Jira/Azure DevOps for defect tracking.

Qualifications

Strong experience in software testing, including automation and QA methodologies.
Experience in test planning, design, execution, and defect management.
Experience with SaaS or cloud-based applications (AWS preferred).
Experience with automation frameworks (Cucumber, Playwright).
Experience programming in TypeScript / Node.js (VS Code).
Strong knowledge of HTML, XML, XPath, JSON, and CSS selectors.
Experience using Jira and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Develop deep product knowledge through cross-functional collaboration.
Work with developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify quality risks.
Design and implement test strategies with QA team members.
Create and maintain test cases and automation scripts.
Execute tests and report defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
Maintain QA artefacts in source control systems.
Develop automated test scripts using Gherkin (Cucumber) and TypeScript.
