Job summary

RELX is seeking a Senior Quality Test Engineer to own end-to-end test execution, define robust test strategies, and drive high-quality delivery of customer environments. You will design, execute, and maintain tests across UI, Mobile, and API layers while building reliable automation with Node.js, Mocha, and WebdriverIO.

You will log and manage defects, provide clear status updates, and collaborate with delivery, QA, and product teams to ensure confidence in releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven manual test design and execution across UI, Mobile and API layers.
• Experience logging, reproducing, and tracking defects to closure.
• Hands-on coding to build and maintain test automation within a codebase.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/Node.js; Mocha and WebdriverIO preferred.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to learn AI tools for workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the delivery team’s test strategy and drive execution.
• Plan and execute tests to ensure high-quality customer environments.
• Define adaptive test coverage aligned to requirements and priorities.
• Maintain test scenarios and records to support traceability and reporting.
• Identify, log, and track defects to resolution with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to expand automated coverage.
