Job summary

TP ICAP Group in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead QA efforts in an Agile team. The role focuses on driving BDD/TDD, automating tests, and delivering high-quality software through in-sprint QA and API-level testing, with a shift pattern to EMEA/Mid and three days onsite in BGC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience as a senior QA automation engineer.
• Proficient with JIRA, Zephyr and UI automation tools.
• Strong programming/scripting in Java or JavaScript.
• Experience with AI tools to design and optimize automation scripts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and agile/SAFe environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global BA, Development and QA teams for efficient test planning, test design and co-ordinate testing efforts between global teams.
• Play key role in functional and automated tests, supporting design, development, execution and maintenance of scripts that run in CI/CD environment.
• Apply knowledge of AI Agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to streamline testing workflows and accelerate QA delivery.
• Design and implement self-healing automation frameworks to improve test stability and reduce maintenance overhead.
• Integrate AI agents into Playwright workflows to enhance script creation efficiency and maintenance.
• Identify, analyse and report application bottlenecks with actionable recommendations.
• Mentoring and coaching the team members to stretch quality achievements
• Consistently strive to empower the full Agile team in understanding the importance of QA
• Promote delivery of quality software – unit tests, code reviews etc.
• Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership and prioritization of tasks.
• Take Ownership/Accountability for development of key features and drive to completion.
• Communicate effectively on progress and ensure impediments are raised early to minimise impact on the delivery.
