Elgada BPO Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a full-time hybrid role based in Makati, Philippines, with optional remote work part of the week.

You will design, build, and sustain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will mentor developers, participate in architecture decisions, and help improve development workflows and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years in a senior or lead developer capacity, production environment preferred.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Role Description:

The Senior Python Developer is a full-time hybrid role based in Makati, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time.

• This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs using Python, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, tested, and documented code, integrating with databases and third-party services, and collaborating with front-end developers, QA specialists, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• The Senior Python Developer will review code, provide technical mentorship to other developers, participate in architectural discussions, and contribute to improving development workflows and best practices.

• The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, optimizing existing systems, and staying current with modern Python frameworks, tools, and industry trends.
  

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Advanced proficiency in Python.

• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Solid background in Software Development practices, such as version control, testing, and CI/CD.

• Hands-on experience working with Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including schema design and query optimization.

• At least over 2 years of experience in a senior or lead developer capacity, preferably in a production environment.

• Familiarity with modern Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) and relevant libraries.

• Ability to design scalable architectures and contribute to technical decision-making.

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience working with international or distributed teams is an advantage.
