Job summary

Neostella, Inc. is seeking a Senior Python Developer to lead backend development, design scalable APIs, and mentor engineers. You will own features from concept to release, leveraging AWS services to build robust, serverless applications.

You will collaborate with Technical Leads and product teams, ensure code quality, and drive architectural standards while delivering high-impact solutions for the legal industry.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building APIs and backend services.
• Experience with REST API integrations; familiarity with SOAP is a plus.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Exposure to or interest in serverless architecture and frameworks (e.g., Serverless Framework).
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and SQS.
• Basic understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum experience is a plus).
• Strong time management and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

What you’ll manage:

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer who will lead the design, development, and delivery of backend services while mentoring other engineers and driving technical best practices.
