Job summary

Sta.Clara International Corporation is seeking a Project Engineering Head to oversee all engineering activities and technical services on the project site. You will manage documentation, cost analysis, forecasting, and coordination with the contracts team to keep the project on budget and on schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, a valid professional license, and at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering required.
• Licensed engineer (Passed board exam) with active professional license preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in project engineering/management.
• Proficient in Primavera and MS Project for scheduling and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all engineering activities and technical services for the project site.
• Update and distribute engineering documents for reference and traceability.
• Analyze project costs and forecast trends; report to the project manager.
• Recommend corrective actions to prevent budget overruns and ensure cost controls.
• Review contract conformity and negotiate unit rates for additional works with the contracts administrator.
• Ensure accurate quantity take-offs and progress billing.
• Communicate survey measurements and construction limits to the team for execution.
• Review look-ahead schedules and monitor schedule impact.
• Provide input for progress reports and flag schedule concerns to site management.
• Monitor man-hour, production, and progress data to evaluate project performance.
• Track scope changes and variances affecting schedule and cost.
• Participate in coordination meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
