Job summary

A global infrastructure consulting firm is seeking an experienced planner/scheduler for Project Controls in Makati, Philippines. The ideal candidate must have 6-10 years of experience and will work with financial systems and processes to provide critical cost data. This role supports project reporting and requires knowledge of financial metrics that assess project impact. The position offers a hybrid work setup of 3 days onsite each week, along with comprehensive benefits to support employee well-being and development.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience as a planner/scheduler in Project Controls.
• Adept at financial terminology and measures related to project actions.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify key project issues.
• Has knowledge of earned value methodology.
• Exposure to scheduling process concepts and principles.
• Exposure to performance management and cost/schedule integration concepts and principles.
• Assists with the creation of baseline budgets.
• Must be amenable to work night shifts and hybrid set-up of 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing financial data and tracking purchase orders.
• Assists in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues.
• Able to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data.
• Develops knowledge of accounting principles.
• Assists in assembling data for trending and forecasting.
• Prepares analysis of progress trends and cost impact; may review contractor invoices.
• Collects and analyzes data on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements vs budget.
• Collects and analyzes data for tracking actual cost to funding limitations.
• Assists in tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
• Possesses knowledge of scope control and change management.
• Assists with baseline budgets creation.
• Exposure to scheduling process concepts and principles.
• Exposure to performance management and cost/schedule integration concepts and principles.
• Supports the project reporting process as required.
• Participates in project cost review meetings.
• Gathers data for procedure development.
