Job summary

Datacom Philippines is seeking a qualified Accountant or Part Qualified Assistant Accountant to support Billing Operations through robust analysis, reporting, and commercial insight. This role involves close collaboration with the business to understand project structures, ensure accurate administration, budgets, and revenue recognition, and mentor the team within a hybrid setup at BGC Taguig.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Two years' experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within a project-based environment.
• Experience with ERP and project accounting systems such as NetSuite or SuiteProjects Pro.
• Strong Excel and data analytics for reporting and financial insight.

Responsibilities

• Project administration and project billing.
• Project financials: budgets, billing rules, revenue recognition, WIP, and deferred revenue.
• Review project setup in SuiteProjects Pro to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
• Identify and investigate data issues impacting reporting or outcomes.
• Support the Team Manager and Team Leads with financial acumen.
• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Team, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to reporting improvements and data quality initiatives.
• Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.
