Job summary

Rusomeka Holdings seeks an experienced Architect to lead detailed design and construction documentation. You will work on diverse project types, producing drawings with AutoCAD, Revit and 3D models, and collaborating with clients and consultants.

Must hold a Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school that enables Intern status with the Ontario Association of Architects; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• First-hand experience in preparing details, specifications and construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Prior experience on active construction sites across multiple project types.
• Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school enabling Intern status in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural presentation documents and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants to ensure design intent and compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers and BIM team to integrate models and specs.
• Maintain high quality documentation for permitting and construction.

Job description

Applicants must have first-hand experience in preparing details, specifications, and construction documents. Strong working knowledge of current versions of AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Microsoft Office Suite are essential. Must have prior experience working on active construction sites on a multitude of project types. Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office is mandatory. A Master’s degree in Architecture is required from an accredited school that will allow for Intern status with the Ontario Association of Architects. Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be self-driven, and must have an interest in working collaboratively to produce high end results for our clients.

Preferred Considerations

• Ability to prepare Architectural presentation documents (renderings, boards, booklets, etc);
• Understanding of Adobe products including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign;
• Understanding of Rhino, Grasshopper, and parametric design;
• LEED BD+C Accreditation.
