Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Programmer Analyst to partner with business users, project teams, and developers to design, develop, and support enterprise applications. You will work across the software development lifecycle to deliver secure, scalable solutions and optimize performance.

Strong experience in C#/.NET, React.js, TypeScript, and SQL is required, with 4–6 years in development and production support. Candidates should be able to translate requirements into technical designs and collaborate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related field.
4–6 years of application development and support experience.
Strong C#/.NET development with Visual Studio.
Front-end development with React.js and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
Experience in SDLC, QA, and secure coding practices.
Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with business users and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical designs and system solutions.
Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications and system enhancements.
Build and support applications using C#/.NET technologies within Microsoft Visual Studio.
Develop modern and responsive user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
Create, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support application functionality and performance.
Collaborate with business users, project teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend effective technical solutions.
Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution to ensure application quality and reliability.
Support system integration, deployment, implementation, and post-production activities.
Monitor application performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and user experience.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and support procedures.
Ensure compliance with development standards, information security requirements, change management processes, and SDLC best practices.
Investigate and resolve production issues within agreed service levels.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members when needed.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and development practices.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
