Job summary

Dyson is seeking creative engineers to join its Global Test Development Team to advance methodologies for new product designs and verify robustness in line with international standards. You will collaborate with R&D Engineers and partners to develop, test, and refine verification strategies, while driving automation of test processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Life Sciences or Engineering.
• 3-5 years' experience in development of product verification test methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication at a technical level.
• Familiar with CAD-enabled test system design.
• Coding ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support interrogation and development of PRDs and DFMEA.
• Define product user profiles and acceptance criteria.
• Formulate test procedures and verification strategies aligned to international standards.
• Utilize internal/external testing tools and CAD for test system design.
• Design and develop prototype jigs and fixtures; oversee manufacture when needed.
• Test and troubleshoot prototypes for conformance to specs.
• Investigate test failures and recommend remediation.
• Coordinate transition of methods to Test Operations and analyze results.
• Sourcing external laboratories when internal capabilities are lacking.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, test scripts, and reports.
