Progress Software Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced Product Security Architect to drive security strategy across OpenEdge. You will partner with product management, engineering, and DevOps to embed security throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in software engineering or security, deep knowledge of secure software development, cloud/on-premises security, threat modeling, and hands-on leadership of security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years in software engineering, product security, or security architecture.
• 5+ years leading product security strategy for enterprise software products.
• Experience securing large-scale commercial software platforms.
• Proven success influencing engineering organizations and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall security architecture and roadmap for OpenEdge products.
• Act as the principal security advisor for product management, engineering leadership, and architecture teams.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and risk assessments for new features and integrations.
• Drive SSDLC, secure coding practices, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Coordinate security testing (SAST/DAST), vulnerability management, and disclosure programs.
• Present security posture, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
