Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking a Product Manager to own AML/CFT and KYC onboarding initiatives in the Philippine fintech space. You will shape risk scoring, coordinate with Compliance, and implement scalable features aligned with BSP/AMLC regulations.

The role requires 5+ years of product leadership in fintech, deep regulatory understanding, and the ability to balance risk with onboarding efficiency across both individual and business customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in fintech/payments/crypto.
• Strong understanding of AML / CFT frameworks.
• Knowledge of KYC / KYB processes and transaction monitoring.
• Experience building or managing risk engines, fraud systems, or compliance platforms.
• Familiarity with Philippines regulations (BSP / AMLC) or similar regimes.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and SAR/STR systems.
• Design and optimize risk scoring frameworks across onboarding and transaction lifecycle.
• Partner with Compliance to translate BSP/AMLC regulations into scalable features.
• Build and improve KYC/KYB onboarding flows (individual & business).
• Optimize CDD/EDD processes, including document verification and risk tiering.
• Balance conversion with compliance and reduce friction without increasing risk.
• Define and implement fraud detection strategies (ATO, scams, mule accounts).
• Collaborate with data teams on rules engines, alerting, and case management tools.
• Develop real-time monitoring capabilities for transactions and user behavior.
• Lead cross-functional efforts bridging regulatory requirements and product implementation.
