Job summary

EastWest Ageas Insurance seeks an experienced actuarial professional to review product designs, assess profitability, and support reinsurance negotiations. You will monitor experience and market conditions, recommend product changes, and provide technical pricing support across distribution channels and back-office functions.

Key duties include leading development of profitable life and health products, preparing ICA documentation, and managing the product approval process with regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, computer science or economics.
• Committed to qualifying as FASP and progress with actuarial exams.
• 3–5 years in life insurance product development, with both individual and group products preferred.
• Project management skills and ability to coordinate across operations, marketing, sales and systems.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and assumptions of profitable products and support fair reinsurance talks.
• Assess profitability and risk of products in the portfolio amid market changes.
• Provide technical support to distributors and back-office staff, including pricing tools and special computations.
• Support development of profitable new generation life and health products.
• Prepare Insurance Commission documentation for product approval and manage the approval process.
