Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a Product Actuary/Pricing Professional to support pricing, modeling and product development. You will lead pricing projects, review models, and advise on reinsurance and product design with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes actuarial rigor, cross-functional collaboration and timely delivery of development and filing requirements, contributing to healthier, well-priced insurance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math/statistics with actuarial exposure.
• At least 5 years progressive actuarial experience and 1 year project management.
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent credential is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations and actuarial software.

Responsibilities

• Lead simple pricing projects and ensure the accuracy of models for pricing exercises.
• Lead negotiations for reinsurance arrangements.
• Provide actuarial analysis for complex product/reinsurance pricing.
• Propose and review product design, pricing viability and filing documents.
• Ensure end-to-end completion of product development and management deliverables.
• Fulfill audit and control requirements and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with heads of Product/Pricing/Chief Actuary and external parties on pricing results.
