Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an experienced Sr Test Engineer to define and own end-to-end test strategies for complex power electronics systems. You will lead test development, automation, and software integration, collaborating with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure product robustness and compliance.

The role requires strong Python and C# skills, hands-on electrical testing expertise, and leadership in validation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–6 years of experience testing power electronics systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end test strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain test plans for functional, performance, reliability, safety, and compliance.
• Design automated test solutions and test fixtures for high-power environments.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to resolve failures and improve robustness.
• Document test results, architecture, APIs, and usage guidelines.
