M3 Global Research, part of M3 Inc., is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with PostgreSQL DBA expertise to join our data engineering team. This role focuses on database administration, performance tuning, security, and reliability.

You will guide cross-functional teams and translate business needs into scalable data solutions, with exposure to BI tooling. The ideal candidate leads with strong PostgreSQL skills, communicates clearly, and mentors peers while aligning data initiatives with business

Qualifications

Strong PostgreSQL database administration expertise (performance tuning, security, backup/recovery).

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL ,SQL Server, Oracle) for performance, security, and availability.
Design and maintain database schemas, indexes, and partitions to support scalability and efficiency.
Perform database monitoring, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Implement security best practices, including access control, encryption, and auditing.
Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize query performance.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and industry standards.
