Job summary

Full Scale, a fully remote-first company, seeks a Senior / Staff Platform Security Engineer to own security across cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes. You will work directly with the CTO and cross-functional teams to implement practical controls and reduce risk.

The role emphasizes cloud and platform security with DevOps, IaC, and CI/CD security. Requires extensive hands-on Azure/Kubernetes experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud/platform security or related roles.
• 4+ years in cloud/platform security with production impact.
• Hands-on Azure/Kubernetes experience incl. AKS and Key Vault.
• Strong IaC and CI/CD security background.
• Excellent communication and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve security across Azure, AKS, Azure SQL, networking, storage, identity, secrets, and production environments.
• Harden Kubernetes workloads, containers, ingress, workload identity, secrets, and network controls.
• Design least-privilege and privileged access models including RBAC and PIM.
• Own vulnerability management, triage and remediation tracking.
• Configure security and monitoring tools to reduce noise and improve detection.
• Implement security guardrails across CI/CD and IaC (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning).
• Collaborate with engineers to make security findings actionable and resolvable.
• Support security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and incident response.
• Partner with Compliance on audits and risk assessments.
