Job summary

AVENSYS CONSULTING INC. in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps / SRE) to design and manage cloud infrastructure supporting 30+ engineering teams, delivering secure, highly available platforms.

You'll work with AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, GitOps, Docker, CI/CD, and on-call rotation, in a hybrid setup (1x onsite per month + 1 week onsite quarterly during client visits).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Strong hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience in production.
• Solid IaC and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure supporting multiple engineering teams.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS for scalability, reliability, performance and security.
• Develop and maintain IaC using GitOps principles and automation tools.
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Manage and scale containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor production environments and lead incident response for critical systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers to build resilient, production-ready platforms.
