Job summary

Avensys Consulting seeks a Senior OpenShift / Kubernetes Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-grade container platforms. This role blends hands-on OpenShift engineering with platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, security, automation, and operational excellence.

You’ll work with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, container orchestration, networking, storage, monitoring, and security technologies to build scalable platforms for enterprise apps.

Qualifications

• Hands-on OpenShift engineering and platform architecture experience.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration.
• Experience with multi-cluster or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Proficiency in AWS and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Automation experience with Terraform or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, upgrade, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters across enterprise environments.
• Manage the full OpenShift cluster lifecycle including provisioning and capacity planning.
• Apply deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture to build scalable platforms.
• Design multi-cluster OpenShift environments for availability and resilience.
• Translate platform requirements into scalable architectures.
• Troubleshoot OpenShift and Kubernetes issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Design and manage OpenShift on AWS and hybrid clouds.
• Develop scalable and secure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise needs.
• Collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams for integrated solutions.
• Support platform capacity, performance, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Perform advanced administration of RHEL environments.
• Configure OS, networking, storage, and platform-level issues.
• Ensure OpenShift infrastructure adheres to security and availability standards.
