HRTX in Manila is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Infrastructure team. You will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure services for 30+ development teams, and manage AWS cloud resources.

The role requires 5+ years in platform engineering, strong Linux skills, and IaC experience. Excellent collaboration and communication in a global team are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency with at least one programming language.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code provider (e.g., Terraform).
• In-depth experience with AWS cloud services.
• Excellent Linux skills.
• Experience with a database product such as MongoDB or ElasticSearch.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure services for 30+ development teams.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code.
• Debug runtime issues and resolve critical incidents.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable, secure apps.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Apply security, reliability, and performance best practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
