Job summary

UnionBank of the Philippines is seeking a Senior Planning Officer to support the Bank's planning, business review, and capital management processes. Based at UnionBank Plaza in Ortigas, Pasig City, you will coordinate key finance deliverables and contribute to ICAAP and debt-raising activities.

You will assist in budget and strategic planning, monitor performance vs budget, and prepare management reports and market databases for executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ICAAP, debt and capital-raising with ERM, Treasury, and other units; prepare annual ICAAP documents and related materials.
• Support budgeting, business planning and reviews; gather inputs from business units for consolidation.
• Assist annual strategic planning for parent bank and subsidiaries.
• Monitor bank-wide performance vs budget; prepare management reports.
• Maintain a database of market and financial information for management use.
• Prepare internal management performance reports, including competitor scans, for senior management.
• Assist in documentation for strategic projects (M&As, joint ventures).
• Provide cross-functional support to Corporate Planning Group tasks.

Job Summary

The Senior Planning Officer will support in developing, implementing and monitoring the Bank's planning, business review, and capital management processes.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordination of key finance deliverables, including but not limited to ICAAP, debt and capital-raising exercises, with other units; Prepare the annual ICAAP document, offering circulars, and other documentation requirements for capital management and debt-raising exercises in coordination with key units (i.e. ERM, Treasury, etc.)
• Provide support in the budget, business planning, and business review processes; liaise with the different business units to gather inputs and consolidate for presentation to management;
• Provide support to annual strategic planning exercises of parent bank and/or subsidiaries;
• Monitor bank-wide and business performance vs. budget, and prepare management reports;
• Maintain a database of market and financial information for the use of management and other banking units;
• Prepare internal management performance reports, including competitor scan, for presentation to senior management and banking units;
• Provide support in the preparation of documentation requirements and transaction documents for various strategic projects (i.e. M&As, joint ventures, etc.); and
• Provide cross-functional support to various tasks and special projects performed under the Corporate Planning Group
