Optum is seeking a Perimeter Security Analyst to administer and maintain security technologies that support the perimeter security program. You will work with business and tech teams to implement controls protecting client environments and sensitive data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an Information Security Operations team.
• Advanced analytical skills to investigate and remediate incidents.
• Proficient knowledge of perimeter security tech and monitoring tools.
• Experience with firewall reviews and tuning.
• Strong writing skills for clear audience-targeted docs.
• Experience with ITIL, vendor relations, and incident/change processes.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures to secure the client’s perimeter.
• Manage perimeter security solutions including firewalls, VPN, DMZ, and proxy services.
• Perform incident triage, analysis, and remediation for security incidents.
• Collaborate with users to protect proprietary and privileged data.
• Provide SME guidance to IT security professionals.
• Ensure policies align with ISO 2700x, NIST, ITIL frameworks.
• Identify customer needs and develop proactive security solutions.
• Lead teams or projects when needed.
