Job summary

You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, and collaborate with orthopedic providers to ensure efficient patient flow in ambulatory and hospital settings.

The role includes overseeing onboarding, competency validation, and standard workflows, while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare field.
• 4–5 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory, team lead, or staff coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates administrative, operational, and clinical support functions.
• Liaises with external surgical sites and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Manages department schedule and staffing, tracks hours, leaves, and payroll-related tasks.
• Oversees onboarding and ongoing competency validation of orthopedic technical staff with clinical leadership.
• Ensures compliance with infection control and Joint Commission readiness.
• Produces reports and KPIs to drive performance and workflow improvements.
