Oracle SQL Developer

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Developer / Technical Lead to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, application support, and Oracle APEX/ORDS. You will lead the resolution of production incidents, perform enhancements, and support enterprise-level solutions while mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production support for application incidents, including analysis and resolution within SLAs

• Develop, test, and deploy Oracle-based solutions, adhering to best practices and coding standards

• Participate in incident prevention by implementing long-term fixes and enhancements

• Create and maintain technical design documents and recovery procedures

• Lead and guide a team of developers on programming tasks, system testing, and implementation

• Support data migration and ETL processes using Oracle tools

• Collaborate with vendors for maintenance, fixes, and enhancements

• Perform unit testing and review team/unit test results

• Assist in implementing applications in test and production environments following change control standards

• Provide support for service catalog automation and operational efficiency initiatives

• Train and provide technical mentoring to team members

Must-Have Qualifications (Non-negotiable)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years as a Programmer Analyst focused on PL/SQL development

• At least 1 year of experience leading a technical team

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in:

  • Oracle APEX, ORDS, Oracle Scheduler

  • Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher

  • Oracle E-Business Suite

  • Data Migration using ETL via Oracle

• Strong command of RDBMS concepts and Oracle technologies

• Solid experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL

• Proficiency in bash/shell scripting

• Familiarity with tools including GitLab, JIRA, SonarQube/SonarLint, Control-M, and Oracle SQL Developer

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
