BairesDev is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to ensure health and peak performance of production databases across our global environments. You will manage data availability, security, and the full lifecycle of diverse systems to support mission-critical operations.

This is a 100% remote role with USD compensation, flexible hours, and a culture of mentorship and growth across a multinational Top 1% talent community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Proficiency in T-SQL/PLSQL and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with backups, replication, and HA/DR configurations.
• Deep understanding of database maintenance and lifecycle management.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain production databases to ensure high availability.
• Execute advanced performance tuning and query optimization to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency.
• Design and implement robust backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies to protect critical data assets.
• Manage database maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and resource utilization monitoring.
• Provide technical expertise in T‑SQL and PL/SQL for database development and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish database standards and best practices for multi-platform environments.
