Job summary

Avaloq is seeking an Observability Engineer in a hybrid role to design and deploy a comprehensive observability stack across cloud and on-prem environments. You will enable end-to-end monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing, collaborating with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to optimize performance.

The role requires hands-on IaC with Terraform, deep knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana/Loki, and experience with Kubernetes. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in observability for on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP and related observability features.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy a robust observability stack (logging, metrics, monitoring, alerting, tracing).
• Connect observability tools with cloud services and infrastructure for complete visibility.
• Develop IaC with Terraform to provision observability tooling and infrastructure.
