Job Summary
This role owns the NetSuite development function, maintaining existing customizations and managing the development backlog. Working closely with the NetSuite Administrator and cross‑functional stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and Operations, the developer delivers system enhancements and ensures optimal ERP performance. The position is independent, requiring strong ownership, accountability, and problem‑solving skills.
Work Setup & Collaboration
- Daily overlap with US Pacific Time (2–3 hours) for stakeholder collaboration.
- Morning Philippines time with US afternoon, or evening Philippines time with US morning.
AI‑assisted development is core. Tools such as GitHub Copilot are provided from Day 1 and expected to be used for daily development tasks, debugging existing customizations, and accelerating work in complex or unfamiliar codebases. AI proficiency is a standard requirement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and support existing SuiteScript 2.x customizations.
- Develop User Event, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, RESTlets, Map/Reduce, and Suitelets.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a live ERP environment.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to implement system improvements.
- Translate business and accounting requirements into NetSuite configurations, saved searches, and reports.
- Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, and system transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite modules:
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and workflows, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets.
- Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience supporting finance processes such as month‑end close, audits, and compliance reporting.
Experience & Certifications
- At least 3 years as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role.
- Hands‑on experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics.
- NetSuite Administrator certification preferred.
- CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Experience in multi‑entity or multi‑currency environments highly preferred.

- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data import/export processes.
