Job summary

Grip Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Daxko subsidiary, is seeking a senior backend developer to own backend services and APIs for FitnessForce, a global multi-tenant platform used by gyms and fitness businesses.

You will design scalable REST APIs, optimize MySQL data models, and drive real-time data synchronization with Kafka while leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate delivery and maintain high quality across releases.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of backend engineering experience, ideally in a SaaS product.
• Deep hands-on expertise in C# and .NET Core.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in production, with ability to review and refactor AI-generated code.
• Strong relational database skills: schema design, transactions, and query optimization in MySQL.
• Experience building multi-tenant systems and working with event-streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Track record of building secure, well-versioned APIs and untangling complex business logic.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure REST APIs in .NET Core for web and mobile apps.
• Architect data models and optimize query performance in MySQL for a multi-tenant setup.
• Build and maintain event-driven services with Apache Kafka for real-time data sync.
• Lead the technical build-out of core features including cross-club access and global integrations.
• Use AI coding tools to speed up development while ensuring maintainability, security and architecture.
• Grow automated test coverage across backend services to improve stability.
• Review code and unblock the backend team, setting standards for clean engineering.
