8x8 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, and evolve our global messaging platform. You will build high-performance backend services using .NET Core and C#, create RESTful APIs, and advance microservices architecture in production environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of .NET Core and C#.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in multi-threaded application development and async programming.
• Experience with queue engines like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Working experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD).
• Hands-on experience utilizing cloud platforms to develop scalable and reliable applications.
• A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments, collaborating closely with product team, and stakeholders.
