Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend .NET API Developer to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable backend systems for financial services. You will work with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, microservices, and high-volume transactional workflows.

This role includes ownership of production incidents, rapid debugging, RCA, and collaboration with QA, DevOps, and Infra to ensure uptime and reliability while meeting security and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of backend development experience.
• Extensive banking/fintech domain experience required.
• Proficient in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and REST APIs.
• Strong security, compliance, and performance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Handle production incidents, RCA, and fixes to minimize downtime.
• Own architecture decisions for scalable, secure backend systems.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Infra and product teams.
• Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance in financial workflows.
